Drift away to the Polynesians this summer at one of Denver’s best tiki bars fitted with an outdoor patio, Adrift. A Polynesian-inspired summer tiki bar, Adrift does their cocktails best, and has been featured as one of our favorite cocktail bars in Denver in the past. Their claim to fame is their Punch Bowls, huge cocktails made for 2 or 4 people depending on the size and served in fanciful glassware that takes you away to far off islands like Hawaii, the Cook Islands, or Easter Island.
Try their Voodoo Witchdoctor Funk for either $32 or $58 that comes with Appleton Signature Rum, Centenario 7yr Rum, Pomegranate Grenadine, Pineapple, Lime, Absinthe, and Champagne. For their normal cocktails, you could try their Adrift Mai Tai with Martinique Rum, Jamaican Rum, White Rum, Curaçao, Lime, and Toasted Almond Orgeat for a sweet and elevated version of a classic, or their New Orleans origin Hurricane with three different types of rum: Flor De Caña, Denizen 100, and Jamaican Rum then complemented with Orange Juice, Lime, Passionfruit, and Pomegranate.
Their food borrows from the different islands and cultures in Oceania as well as Asian, from Hawaii’s influence in their Spam Misubi appetizer to their La Zi Ji Chicken that borrows from Sichuan, China and Thailand.
Adrift is open from Tuesday to Thursday from 5pm-11pm and Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 12am. Adrift has also got a happy hour 5pm to 7pm every day and Tiki Tuesday means happy hour lasts all day long.
