6 Of The Loveliest, Coziest Patios To Dine Al-Fresco Here In Denver

If you haven’t already heard the news, Denver might be becoming a bonafide outdoor dining location. If you’re a big fan of al-fresco, then you’re in for a real treat, especially since Denver has some of the loveliest patios in the state. With the prospect of permanent patio season and outdoor dining, we wanted to give you a quick list of some of the prettiest patios you’ll want to spend your Friday nights on. Here’s 6 of our favorite Denver patios and outdoor dining options.

1. Recess Beer Garden

Recess Beer Garden is your neighborhood bar serving up some of the best craft beer in the city from your favorite brewers. Their food consists of a lot of smoked meats between two slices of bread, a bun, or some other form of grain. From hoagies to brioche to pitas, get their daily smoked meats served in a variety of styles: greek gyros, cubanoed pork, or french-dipped brisket. Don’t forget about their Happy Hour, Monday through Thursday from 2-6pm, where you get $1 off all draft beers. Their patio is brightly lit and flourished with green plants so come hungry and stay for a while.

Where: 2715 17th St #103, Denver, CO 80211

2. Ace Eat Serve

Ace, Eat, Serve is an exciting, modern take on Asian food, serving up delicious favorites like wings, bao, and noodles. They hold a special party called their Patio Sessions, where you can chill on their beautifully designed patio and listen to live music on Saturdays, a DJ for Sunday brunch, and bao and slushy specials.

Where: 501 E 17th Ave, Denver, CO 80203

3. Tamayo

Chef Richard Sandoval is the man behind Tamayo, a Mexican restaurant blending together the flavors of his heritage in an exciting way, from a beautiful indoor and al fresco space. The spot is located in the lovely Larimer Square, a perfect outdoor eating oasis, where you can dine on plates like crab guacamole, adobo chicken, or chicken tinga enchiladas. They’ve also got $2 tacos every Tuesday!

Where: 1400 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80202

4. Forest Room 5

Online, Forest Room 5 is a bit of an enigma, so we recommend just heading over and seeing it for yourself. The decor will make you feel like you’ve just stepped behind a log cabin Air BNB that you’ve been renting for the week. You’ll be able to sit on wooden stumps, chill out by the fire, and disappear into the forest for an evening with a plate of yummy bar snacks and a cozy beer.

Where: 2532 15th St, Denver, CO 80211

5. The Source Market Hall

The Source Hotel is your one-spot stop for restaurants, shopping and staycations. The Market Hall offers a variety of food vendors from barbecue to breweries, pizza, Mexican food, and more. Pick your poison, and then bring your meal over to the patio which is beautifully decorated with string lights and quite massive.

Where: 3330 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO 80216

6. The Golden Mill

A little further out but still highly worth it, there’s Golden Mill, a beautiful patio haven that’s been around since 1864. They’ve got delicious bar food like tacos and burgers, and there’s a tap wall where you can pour your own brew, cocktails, and wine. The patio has also got some of the best beautiful mountains views to enjoy from the patio seating.

Where: 1012 Ford St, Golden, CO 80401
