This city-wide food & beverage experience is coming back to Denver in 2021 this Thursday, July 22nd, and we’re stoked. For over 10 years, the The Big Eat food event has been a place for independent restaurants to showcase themselves in a fun and exciting way for Denver to partake. This year, the festival is more crucial than ever. By attending, you’ll be able to support tons of independent eateries that have taken a huge hit the past 16 months as the pandemic rolled on.
The way this year will work is a bit different from year’s past. Instead of hosting one tasting event, each participating Denver-area restaurant will create a special dining or bar experience just for The Big Eat that can be enjoyed on-site at the restaurant. By participating in this event, you’ll not only support local restaurants, but you’ll be supporting the non profit organization, EatDenver, who advocates and educates about the restaurant scene here in the community.
The full list of restaurants is available online, but just a couple of the participating ones include The Family Jones who are doing a spirit tasting, Stoic & Genuine who are doing an oysters and growing champagne experience, and Urban Farmer, a steakhouse offering a 4-course chef’s dinner.
Make sure to check out how to make reservations in advance for a lot of these unique restaurant meal courses.
