Head over to Boulder (just a 30 minute drive away from Denver) for an evening of family-friendly holiday fun.
The annual Lights of December Parade is returning for another year, starting at 6pm. Line up on the corner of 15th & Walnut streets to catch a parade filled with floats created by locals in Denver (non-profits, community organizations, and local small businesses) that are brightly decorated to commemorate the festive, holiday season.
The parade then heads west onto Broadway, then north on Broadway (with a reviewing stand on Broadway and Pearl) before turning east on Spruce. Finally, the parade will end on Spruce and 15th.
The parade will end with a special appearance by Santa Claus himself, so make sure to bring a camera for photos and to collect those great holiday memories.
While masks are not required for this outdoor event, they’re strongly recommended as there are likely to be big crowds.
Entrance is free and the festivities start at 6pm, December 4th!
