Cherry Creek North is transforming into a ‘Winter Wanderland’ for the holidays.
There’s a special delivery in town for Denver residents this winter! Cherry Creek North is giving the Mile High City the gift of holiday cheer during the area’s highly-anticipated holiday festivities. Running until January 3, 2021, Cherry Creek North’s Winter Wanderland turns the lively, walkable Denver neighborhood into a seasonal celebration filled with fun and festive activities for all to enjoy.
You’ll definitely want to check out the first annual Cherry Creek Holiday Market on Fillmore Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. This lovely outdoor craft market (taking place until December 23rd) promises to be a one-stop holiday shopping experience, with plenty of goods and gifts to browse through from 30 highlighted local makers, designers, and creators, as well as live music and performances to see and warm festive drinks for purchase.
There’s also a festive holiday light walk that goes throughout all 16 blocks of Cherry Creek North and features more than half a million twinkling lights, eight impressively-decorated trees, and numerous light displays. In addition, you can head to Gart Plaza (3rd & Milwaukee) to check out Prismatica, an interactive light art installation presented by Alpine Bank that consists of 25 pivoting prisms bursting with light and color.
You can view the map of the Winter Wanderland festivities here.
Please note: Winter Wanderland has been completely reimagined for the unique circumstances we face in the 2020 holidays. As such, visitors are expected to wear masks and keep a six-foot distance from others.
Day or night, this kaleidoscope of colors shines bright. 💫 Get your holiday shopping done, grab a bite to go or on one…
