America’s number one bar, Dante, has opened up a pop-up in Aspen at the Snow Lounge. Voted America’s Best Cocktail Bar in 2019, Dantes’s serves up unique and expertly crafted cocktails perfect to warm you up on a romantic and snowy visit. Check out their Espresso Martini or their Christolfe Champagne Cocktail to get a taste of why they’re considered number one. Dante Snow Lodge also has its own personalized food and cocktail menu just for Aspen Lodge that differs from their other locations. They’ve also prepared bottled cocktails that you can take to-go. Desserted is a sweet, unique concept that collects desserts around the city and brings them straight to your door. All desserts are locally sourced and they’ve even partnered up with Food For Thought Denver, a nonprofit organization. For every dessert box delivered, it funds one of the food bags that Food For Thought Denver delivers to Title 1 schools. Desserted has a bunch of romantic dessert boxes that come with a variety of sweets and a hand-drawn note at different tiers that include different types of desserts. Check out their boxes here.
Misfit Snack Bar is offering up no nonsense small plates perfect for sharing (or keeping all to yourself.) This year, they’re doing something special called Baolentine’s Day, which is a speciality menu featuring dumplings in unique flavors. Foi Gras + Duck, Fish and Chips, and Oyster Mushroom are just some of those offerings. Plus, they’re doing a couple of other unique Asian-inspired dishes like their Crispy Duck Salad. Spuntino is a charming restaurant specializing in Italian food and wine, and they’ve got their heated patios all set up this winter for you to enjoy. They’ve also got take-out and are offering an expanded menu with both of those options. They’ve got three types of fresh pastas, other entrees like chicken, and this winter, they’re also specializing in a South Indian menu with Masala-Braised Lamb Shank.

Is there anything more romantic than chocolate? Gourmet chocolate. At Temper’s, they sell one of a kind gourmet chocolate bonbons and dipped treats. For Valentine’s Day, they’ve even got a really romantic “make your own fondue” kit-for-two made with delicious chocolate. Don’t forget to order a couple of their uniquely flavored bonbons too.

Little Man Ice Cream is always a hit in Denver, even in the winter time for their fresh and flavorful ice cream with fresh house-made waffle cones. They’ve got a variety of sizes, flavors, and toppings to choose from to make the perfect customized sweet treat. For Valentine’s Day, they’re also offering freezer packs, or 4 pints of ice cream or 4 ice cream sandwiches packed and ready to enjoy.

Rioja specializes in Mediterranean ingredients for their dishes like their Spanish Grilled Octopus or their Black truffle Red Wine Braised Beef. If the name of the place is any indication, they must serve up some good wines as well. Don’t skimp on the dessert either, where they borrow from a variety of different cultures like their Japanese Cloud Cake and their Caramelized Phyllo Bavarian Napoleon.

Mizuna is a top rated restaurant serving elegant and innovative takes on American cuisine. They encourage their chefs to play and experiment with different ingredients and dishes, resulting in delicious and interesting combinations. Make sure to sign up in advance for a time slot, then can come and participate in a variety of DIY craft activities like making home decor items, jewelry, or leather making. 10. The Plimoth
Plimoth is always changing their menu to bring you fresh and local food every season, but they’ve got a sample menu on their restaurant that has a general view of what they serve. Their dishes focus heavily on vegetables like their Winter Greens & Kale Salad, and their African Yam & Peanut Soup or their Winter Vegetable Pot Pie. They’re taking reservations for indoor dining with an emphasis on safety.
