The Mile High City is getting national recognition for being one of the best places to live!
U.S. News & World has compiled its 2020-21 list of the best places to live in the country, and our very own Denver has come in at #2!
The list is an annual ranking of the 150 most populated metropolitan areas in the United States in order from most to least desirable for living and is intended to help people when they are deciding where to settle down in the US.
To make the top of the list, a city must rank highly on factors such as job market, housing affordability, crime rates, education, health care, and desirability. The Mile High City was found to be strongest in desirability and job market, with an 8.7 and 8.0 in each respectively.
There are three other Colorado cities in the top five: Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins. It just goes to show that Colorado is truly an amazing state to live in.
While this is just one of the many lists of this type, it’s fantastic to see that Denver is being recognized as such a great place to live — although we’ve already known that for a while.
