The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is bringing back these cosmic concerts for a limited time. Be dazzled by laser shows at the Planetarium this summer as this illuminating light show plays alongside music from history’s greatest musicians.
This weekend kicked off the first of their shows, starting with a special concert dedicated to the hit Netflix series, ‘Stranger Things.’ We thought this is the perfect way to kick start the return of these epic concerts: imagine the synthwave music of the hit 80s show coupled with a laser show. Hit songs from Kate Bush and the Clash could likely make an appearance as well, making for a truly immersive audio and visual experience. Because of how quickly the show sold out, they added more shows to the already galactic line up.
The rest of the lineup is equally as epic with a radical laser show dedicated to the kings of rock, Led Zeppelin. The rest of the rock lineup covers the Beatles, one of the most important bands in history as well as Pink Floyd whose eclectic sound was made for lasers. The lineup then switches to showcase some amazing figures in pop, from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé, who just released music. They’ve even got a laser show dedicated to one of electronic music’s most popular duo, Daft Punk. We couldn’t imagine a better line up to see the return of these cosmic concerts.
The laser shows started in August and will continue through winter 2022. Shows will be at 4:15 p.m. daily and most Friday nights at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. You can buy your tickets now by visiting their website and tickets start at $10 for adults. We’ll see you there.
