Ready for the 3 day weekend?
It’s looking like Memorial Day is going to be exciting this year, as Denver is firmly in Level Clear, meaning outdoor and indoor events can expand capacity. This means it’s looking to be a great 3 day weekend! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite parties happening this weekend until Monday!
1. Colorado Music & Arts Festival
This Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy Colorado Music & Arts Festival at Westminster City Park where there will be food, music, vendors, and much more. The event starts at 11am on both days and lasts until 9pm, with weekend passes costing only $10 for everyone over 12. Kids under 12 can attend free and there is free parking. Attendees can check out the the vintage classic car show, the antique vendors, the food garden and the wine & cheese garden, or the open-air farmer’s market! That’s not even including the concerts, where artists like the Georgia Thunderbolts, Kristen Kelly, and the Wilson Brother’s Band will be performing.

2. Fireworks at Elitch Gardens
Elitch Gardens, Denver’s only theme park and water park combo, recently reopened for family fun, and this Memorial Day weekend, they will be presenting a fireworks show in partnership with Pepsi. The fireworks start at closing time, which is at 9pm. Tickets are $44.99 but season passes only cost $69.99 each.

3. Memorial Day Run & March
The Memorial Day Run & March is coming back in-person and virtual this year for its 7th Annual Memorial Day Run and March. Participants can participate in the 5k run to help feed the homeless by filling their bags with non-perishable food and emtpying them in the donation bins at the end of the race. 4. Film on the Rocks
There are a few options for attending Red Rock’s Amphitheater’s ‘Film on the Rocks’ series. On Friday, the theater will be showing Enter the Dragon, a karate classic. On Saturday you can watch the 90s classic, The Sandlot, and Sunday comes at us with another 90s classic, Beetlejuice.

5. Evergreen Festival
This weekend, check out the Evergreen Music Festival in Evergreen Colorado. On Memorial Day, there will be two shows, a morning and an evening show. The gates for the festival opens at 9:30am with a break between 12:30 and 1:30pm. Then the festivities will continue with the afternoon show. In the morning, Denver Brass, Montebello Drumline, and Spinphony. In the afternoon, after the gates reopen at 1:30, a tribute to Amy Winehouse band called Franny & the Jets, Montebello rumline plays again, and the concert closes out with Paa Kow.

6. Denver Trap & Paint
The Beta Event Center will be hosting an event like no other called Trap & Paint. $50 admission tickets include bottomless mimosas, paint supplies and a take-home canvas, and food like chicken and waffles, fried catfish, blackened shrimp, and banana pudding and strawberry shortcake. The event takes place on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm and DJ Squizzy Taylor will be performing. Click here to get your tickets.

7. Meadowgrass Music Festival
The 12th annual Meadowgrass Festival is celebrating local, national, and regional artists from Friday to Sunday. There will be activities for kids (12 and under get in free with a paid adult), workshops, yoga, late-night shows, ropes course, archery range and a Kid’s Stage. Sunday will also include their 3rd annual beer festival as well. Purchase your tickets here.

8. Roller All White Under The Black Lights Party
At this roller disco party, wear all white, and party under the blacklight at Roller City. The party is on Saturday from 10:30pm to 1:30am. Tickets range from $25-$30 and include skate gear and 3 hour admission to the party where Walt White from Breaking Bad Music will be spinning music until 1:30am.
