This holiday season, head over to Denver’s Civic Center Park for a dazzling light display that was brought back to life on November 18th. In an exciting tree lighting event, The Mile High Tree, lit up Denver and the tree will be on full display until December 31st. What’s better, attending is completely free.
If you’ve never seen the Mile High Tree before, it’s essentially one of Denver’s most immersive light display that’s interactive, plays music, and is totally free. You and the family can even step inside to get a full 180-degree view of the dizzying lights that climb to over 110 feet tall. The tree is lit up from 5pm – 10pm every night until the 31st, with a synchronized light and music show happening every 15 minutes.
An easy way to get there is from Denver Union Station by hopping on the free MallRide. Once you’re there, you can enjoy the Mile High Tree as well as another Denver holiday tradition, the Denver ChristKindlMarket that’s open through December 23rd where you can get traditional German food and hot mulled wine.
We’ll see you there.
