The Center On Colfax Will Celebrate Pride Month At The End Of June With An In-Person Celebration

Starting Thursday the 24th through Sunday the 27th.

Pride Month has officially kicked off at the beginning of June, but the biggest party of the month kicks off the weekend of the 26th-27th, and we can’t wait. This time last year, things looked so different. From virtual events to overcoming difficulties, and while there is a lot that has still changed forever, it’s a bright spot in 2021 to see a return to in-person events, especially when it comes to special celebrations like Pride Week. This year, the team behind Denver PrideFest has worked extra hard to make this event a hybrid-one. If you don’t want to meet in big groups, don’t worry, there’s still away to show your pride. And if you are comfortable and itching to be back with your friends, then there’s options for you as well.

For in-person events, The Center is hosting Pride Hubs in collaboration with different venues starting June 24th and lasting through June 27th. Starting on Thursday the 24th, you can join Hamburger Mary’s, the best place for American-style breakfast meets Drag entertainment that continues through to Sunday. On the 25th, The Jewish Community Center will be hosting a Pride Shabbat Dinner, on the 26th a pool party plus exhibitions and entertainment, and on the 27th, more of the same festivities. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is hosting a full weekend (the 26th and 27th) of family fun and activities, Denver Film will have beer tasting, exhibits, pop up stage performers to get you excited about the upcoming CinemaQ Film Festival on the 27th, and finally, The Center itself will be hosting its pride fest on the 26th and 27th with a DJ, Food Trucks, and lots more!  Information on the hubs, including where to find more information and individual tickets can be found here.

The Pride 5K Marathon will be held virtually and in-person this year, and you can sign up here. Coors Light has paired up with The Center to host a Virtual Pride Parade which you can find out more about here, and finally, you can also enjoy the virtual marketplace with tons of exhibitors and vendors. Find out more here.

As you can see, there will be a ton of activities to enjoy this year, and we can’t wait!

Denver Pride is produced by The Center, a registered 501-c-3 nonprofit organization that provides year-round programs and services for the LGBTQ community.
