The new train connecting Colorado and Utah will start boarding in 2021.
All aboard! A brand new travel experience has just arrived full steam ahead to Colorado and Utah. Rocky Mountaineer, the world’s largest privately-owned luxury tourist train company, announced that they planned to bring their renowned glass-domed luxury trains to the American Southwest, with rides that began departing in August 2021. The spectacular two-day “Rockies to the Red Rocks” route will start in Denver, wind through the impressive Rocky Mountains, stop for an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs, Colorado (a resort city known for its hot springs), and then continue until reaching Moab, Utah, the gateway to the famed red rock formations in Arches National Park.
Prices for the scenic journey start at $1,456 per person (with a special deal that offers $500 per couple!) and include delicious multi-course meals, sparkling wine, signature cocktails and mocktails, and a cozy one-night stay at a hotel in Glenwood Springs. Passengers will also be treated to onboard storytelling and views of extraordinary landscapes including canyons, deserts, rivers, mountains, and ancient rock formations — all enjoyed from the comfort of the luxury coaches.
Rocky Mountaineer currently operates three other luxury train routes in Western Canada. This multi-day rail trip will surely be an incredible way to see nature’s beauty while crossing the Continental Divide in comfortable luxury. Sign up before April to take advantage of their offer to get $500 off per couple and happy trails!
