The chef behind Ponti was the first Denver chef to ever win a James Beard Award!
Chef Jennifer Jasinski is not only Denver’s first James Beard Award winner, nabbing the prize in 2013, but she’s now officially been added to the Nation’s Restaurant News MenuMasters Hall of Fame! With such accolades under her belt, there’s no way you can pass up checking out her newest restaurant, The Ponti, nestled inside the Denver Art Museum. Opening date is October 24th, and they’re already taking reservations.
The Ponti, named after the Italian architect, Gio Ponti who designed the building, focuses on fresh and sustainably-sourced cuisine. The menu will focus a lot on vegetarian dishes and locally-sourced.
The Ponti, located inside the new Anna & John J. Sie Welcome Center, will be open daily for lunch and dinner, and will even home a new Cafe, Cafe Gio, a “quick-service” cafe. We’ll have more information as the opening date gets closer, but we’re excited to see what Jasinski’s seasonal menu has in store for us at the end of the month!
