The Spot is coming to Denver soon with the most unique eating experience around. On July 29, the series is coming to Wings Over the Rockies’ Exploration of Flight, located at Centennial Airport in Englewood (13005 Wings Way). Get your tickets for a communal dinner surrounded by planes taking off and landing!
Eating in a restaurant is so 2000 and late. The Spot Experience specializes in hosting intimate, candlelit meals in stunning venues you wouldn’t expect to have dinner in—and they certainly haven’t disappointed this time.
Located at Centennial Airport, Exploration of Flight is a 15-acre campus run by community organization Wings Over the Rockies. The group also runs the popular Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, so you can be sure your evening is in good hands (or wings).
This edition of The Spot Experience will be catered by Epicurean Catering. The evening will begin with a cocktail soiree and passed hors d’oeuvres:
- Chevre grape with pistachio & truffled salt (gf, vg)
- Caprese tartelette (vg)
- Petite deviled egg, bacon & candied jalapeno (gf)
- Petite chile relleno
- Five lily canape (vg)
- Poblano chile & Fat Tire beer fritter (vg)
Guests will then take their seats at communal tables. The salad course and entrees will include:
- Farmstead salad (gf, vg, vn)
- Breadsticks (vg)
- Frenched chicken breast with summer succotash (gf)
- Vegetarian option upon request: BBQ jackfruit & green chili grits (gf, vg, vn, df)
What’s fine dining without something sweet? Don’t worry, The Spot is bringing out the big guns for dessert:
- GF flourless chocolate cake & Zinfandel chocolate sauce (gf, vg)
