Cozy up with whoever it is you want to express your love (platonic or romantic) with these 7 lovely Valentine’s Day activities around the city.
1. Denver Botanic Gardens
Since Denver Botanic Garden is hosting two Valentine’s Day-adjacent events, we figured we’d just feature the venue itself. A romantic spot for any couple or group of friends or even solo, there’s plenty of art and flowers around to remind you of all the beautiful things in life and if Valentine’s isn’t about love, it can at least be about that. Right now, they’ve got a special tulip showcase going on until February 20th, where you can see hundreds of the beautiful flower, including rare ones from the gardens’ collection. Head to the Orangery daily from 9am to 5pm to catch the showcase if you like. Then on February 7th, take a special class that will show you how to make special Valentine’s Day rose cordials and halvas. Cordials are brandy infused tinctures infused with herbs and Halvas are Middle Eastern sweet treats made with spices. The class is $40 and takes place from 4:30 to 6pm.
2. Upstairs Circus
Head over to LoDo for an experience that combines the pleasures of DIY and liquor at Upstairs Circus.
