Yelp’s Annual Top 100 US Restaurant List has reached its 9th year, releasing their next list at the beginning of 2022. Everything from Mexican to Afghan to the taste of Sardinia, Italy in all corners of the nation. We were stoked to see Denver’s very own Woodie Fisher Kitchen and Bar make the list at number 86 as an obvious reviewer favorite. If you haven’t already gotten a delicious seasonal, New American dish from Woodie’s, now is the perfect chance.
According to the Yelp Top 100 List, Yelpers say, “Woodie Fisher does both dinner and brunch very well…. The Alaskan King Crab Benedict is a show-stopper; [it’s] layered with big lumps of crab, a perfectly cooked egg, and resting on a fried square of potato. Like, potatoes of my dreams.” Kimberly I.
Woodie Fisher is housed inside a historic fire station and has been completely remodeled into a beautiful space with exposed red brick walls, warm brown leather plush couches and chairs, and dark varnished brown tables. It’s also the oldest building in the iconic Union Station neighborhood. Aside from its industrial charm, its menu changes to the seasons and offers New American dishes inspired by international influences.
Their House-Made Burrata is a perfect choice for a starter, followed by a Woodie Fisher Burger with havarti cheese, smoked bacon and fries or their handmade pappardelle with mussels, and a warm Chocolate Brownie for dessert with smoke caramel. Don’t forget to wash it all down with a signature barrel aged negroni or midnight martini (their take on an espresso martini).
So what are you waiting for? We definitely recommend going to try them out now that they’ve made this top 100 list.
