Just in time for the colder weather, there’s a new cozy dumpling and noodle spot that just arrived in Denver this year. YumCha features an exciting menu of handmade dumplings and warm noddle dishes inspired by the chef, Lon Symensma’s travels in Asia. The Chef, Michelle Xiao, has had experience working in Buddakan, a NYC restaurant made famous by Sex and the City, making expertly crafted dumplings that you can now enjoy here in Downtown Denver.
YumCha isn’t tied to one particular Asian cuisine and instead, borrows a bit from many different ones: Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese to name a few. The full opening menu consists of a few different types of dumplings: shiitake mushrooms crystal dumplings, curried duck spring rolls, Vietnamese Pho soul dumplings, or crab rangoon dumplings are all some of the tasty offerings you can try.
For noodles, slurp up delicious pork belly ramen, wagyu beef and broccoli chow fun or mapo tofu with gravy and jasmine rice for a heartier dish.
YumCha Dumpling & Noodle Bar will be open for lunch and dinner (dine-in and carryout) Wednesday through Sunday, with a daily Happy Hour.
