There’s plenty to do this December as the holiday cheer spreads across the entirety of the city. From ballets & musical performances, to new restaurants opening in the Mile High City, to cozy patios decked with garland and lights, and dazzling light installations that will take your breath away. We’ve got it all covered here in our list of 41 dazzling things to do this December in Denver. Enjoy and stay safe!

2. Indulge in a holiday-themed three-course-meal at this unique dinner for the senses

Imagine stepping inside a restaurant blanketed in darkness and being served a sublime three-course meal – the flavors and textures of which are intensified by your remaining senses. Sounds a little bit incredible, right? This is an experience that’s been backed by psychologists as an ‘amplified’ way to enjoy food, the enticing ‘Dining In The Dark’ made its debut this fall in Upper Larimer, and it’s sticking through the holiday season. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss, and this year, they’ll be featuring a holiday-themed menu full of the flavors of the season.

3. Go hunting for the prize in this scavenger hunt at the zoo

The Denver Zoo is partnering with Let’s Roam, the #1 scavenger-hunt app, to bring you a fun evening filled with clues, mystery, and rewards. Then be led across the different zones to engage with clues, sightsee the different animals, and hopefully find the prize at the very end.
